Massoth 8415001 Round Cylinder Evaporator (DCC) Gauge G

The newly developed round-boiler evaporator unites the isochronous vent and cylinder steam functions previously thought to be impossible on the smallest rum in a single, compact unit. The special round design with only 30 mm outside diameter now finally allows installation in real round tanks, even at scale-low boiler diameters. Even smaller locomotives such as the LGB-Stainz or Franzburg can thus be equipped with this technical marvel. Equally unique is the generous power consumption (max 600mA, on average only 400mA) off. Third-party products sometimes require a multiple of the power, which can be at the expense of the installed electronics and cabling. With the activated diesel mode, the evaporator is of course also ideal for diesel locomotives.
